Birth control pills work every time. Put one pill in the water to dissolve before you water them always water from the bottom so as not to rot your leaves
What is the formulation on the fertilizer you are using? How much light are they receiving? When is the last time they bloomed?
They like to drink from "the bottom up", so add water to the bottom container (i.e. flower pot with hole sitting in shallow sealed bowl) instead of pouring around plant itself. Learned this from a little old lady who had great success with hers!
Way too much water and food!
They like light, but not sun... a north facing window works great. I once worked in a beauty salon with a 6 foot dividing wall around the waiting area.. we had African Violets all along the top with florescent lighting for the salon. Those plants did really well and bloomed all the time. Give them less water than you might think, a teacup saucer filled once a week (for a 4 in pot), and we used "Oxygen Plus for African Violets" in the water.
This is a long shot, but is natural gas in use near where the violets are? African violets do not like gas.
