I just finished doing my backyard & I wanted to plant evergreens & was wondering if I can still plant them?

Hi Betty. It may be too late to plant evergreens. Planted in the late fall they don't have enough time to become established before the cold winter temps.
Early to late spring is a good time. I mix a bag of compost and top soil in with the dirt from the hole, and then keep them watered.
