Yup. They sell markers to match wood for just that purpose. A 3 pack of dark, medium and light wood colors cost a buck at the Dollar Tree. Pay a little more for a 6 pack of shades and 6 crayons and you have a full arsenal. use of floors, furniture, paneling, any surface, even non-wood like my laminate flooring in a wood design that got scuffed and restored with one of these markers. Pay $6 and up at most stores (Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Amazon)f or different packs of 6 or more markers. Here is a pic of the marker/crayon set:
