you need to be more specific. What method did you use to redo your floor?
I have not tried the contact paper on a floor. It surprised me that they said it would wear well. My best guess would be to use only a damp mop, not to soak it with too much water or cleaning solution. I also would not use anything abrasive, like Comet, or Ajax, or to scrub it too vigorously.
