How do I remove witchgrass from perennials?
arden Witch grass is what we here call the obnoxious tough rooting grass which sometimes comes with shared perrenals
A few solutions from least aggressive to most:
1. warm soapy water and a scrub brush;
2. warm soapy water and vinegar (50/50) and a scrub brush;
3. bleach, dish soap and water.
Spray area with warm water. Let dry. Sand lightly with 220 sandpaper by hand, with a small block no larger then your palm. .
They will eventually loose their grip as they dry up and will be easier to remove. but you may have to live with them..........
