It depends on how bad it is. Sometimes just boiling water will make it smell fine but if you need more help, here's an article that can help. Scroll down a bit to find the right place to get the help.

Good luck
Use Vinegar and baking soda, vinegar first then the baking soda. You can follow with the juice from a lemon.
Once a month when you change the baking soda box from the frig, dump it down the drain and dump boiling water over it. I have a garbage disposal as well and cut up fresh lemon and grind. Let sit for awhile, you can also squeeze down the drain if no disposal.
I am very fond of baking soda and finds it works well.
The best cleaner is also not toxic! That is the good news. Simple Green can be purchased in concentration bottles in Walmart boat/auto/ camping section. It can also be purchased in spray bottles and concentrate at Menards and other home improvement stores. Spray the sink to deodorize and disinfect. I use Simple Green for all my household cleaning projects. Harsh cleaning chemicals have been linked to many diseases, so I switched to Simple Green years ago.
Use about 2 Tbsp of baking soda and a cup of vinegar ; it will fizz up just fine. let sit at least 15 mins. Then run hot water. It is inexpensive and IT WORKS!!
If you are not talking about a food disposal sink, this is one way to go:
Use a skewer or chopstick to loosen anything stuck on the sides. Then use an old toothbrush or bottle brush with baking soda to scrub down the sides, if you can. Clean your whole sink with a powdered cleanser with bleach and rinse completely. In a measuring cup, mix 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of baking soda. It will foam some. Pour it down the drain and then turn on the faucet with a small stream for a minute. Rinse the sink again and polish it with a cloth. Clean, good smelling sink and drain. 😇💞
I use Roebics Drain Cleaner in mine and disposal by mixing it in warm water at night before bed, pour down drains and let sit over night. The enyzmes will eat the gunk. Then run some hot water in the morning. If your disposal stinks I peel an orange or thrown 1/2 lemon into mine and grind it up.
Oh forgot to say this in a non-caustic cleaner.
Sometimes the smell comes from build-up under the rubber, I found a round toilet brush pulled back up under it can remove this. Then fill with ice cubes and run disposal
Baking soda mixed with vinegar. Will foam up like a science project. Let sit 1/2 hour - then rinse with hot water
