Hi Marty. Try soaking them in Turpentine for a few minutes. Make sure you do this outside for the high order.
When stoing brushes that have not yet been cleaned properly, store overnight in ziplock plastic bags. No matter what project I do, I always clean my brushes at the end of the day. Extends the life of the brushes. You live and learn and now you know!
I don't think this is a water clean up product. You can try soaking them in turpentine, then using a comb to go through the bristles, but I think the brushes are a lost cause.
Replacing the brushes is really not that expensive.
