my granny made puff quilts with old nylons. Roll them like you would if you were gonna put them on . Cut squares of material and sew 2 squares together almost all the way. put a rolled up nylon inside before sewing last edge. After you have a bunch, whip stitch them together. very warm.
Hello! If you are into crafts at all, these suggestions for using your nylons for a variety of possible crafts are excellent. I especially like the orchids made of nylons.

I have used all mine in the garden to stake up roses, new tree plants etc. They tie but give a little for wind etc. and do not harm the plants.

All good ideas. They are also great for straining old paint.
After washing them let them dry thoroughly then cut then in small pieces to use as the filling in children's stuffed animals or for the stuffing in throw pillows. They are easy to wash and can be dried in the dryer with low heat.
