What is the best way to secure aluminum soffit pieces?

Panels of the interlocking pieces come off when it is windy.

I would use Bathroom Sealant and or Nails with covered heads.........
With painted aluminum screws or painted galvanized nails.
If the fascia panel lip is not holding them in you can nail the soffit panels along the edge of the fascia lip. A dab of silicone caulk over the nail heads will cover and seal them.
