I'd try washing them in just laundry detergent in a sink or pail. Smoke smell is hard to get rid of, and so is smoke stain.
If they are able to be submersed you can use denture tablets for smokers.
If the Curio was in direct sunlight, it is possible the glaze has yellowed from the sun. I'd check with a porcelain dealer before doing anything harsh.
Try rubbing alcohol
Rubbing alcohol has worked for me too :)
