I have a 4 burner gas stove. I wash the removable parts in the dishwasher, and follow that up with "Easy-Off" using the kitchen sink area to limit the area affected by the spray and make rinse/ wash WITH RUBBER GLOVES easy. For the stainless steel edge i sometines use bathroon cleaner .. the "Scrubbing bubbles". Watch out about using it on the painted/ labeled areas like the temperature markers and on/off indicators. I am afraid i scrubbed mine right off.
I use bar keepers friend and magic eraser!
Baking soda and make a paste With water. This will not scratch. Then add some vinegar to bubble up and scrub. Non toxic and work
well
Bar Keeper's is the best stuff. I use it for stove tops with a green scrub pad. The other colors do not work.no clue as to why. If you have some very stubborn crud, spray with a general cleaner, the add the Bar Keepers and scrub, but let it sit (while you get distracted for an hour like I do! Lol) then go back to it. Should come off real easy.
