Hi All,

I am unable to find what kind of ceiling lights are installed at my place and how to replace them. I was able to get a few pictures. Can someone suggest and help, please? Please share a link where to buy the bulbs for this one as well as how to install that.

Take the pictures to your local home improvement center and show it to the associate in the lighting department. They should be able to find the right bulb for you and help you understand how to replace the bulbs.

It's a potlight with what looks to be a halogen bulb. Halogen bulbs usually have two small prongs that fit into the receptacle. You have to turn the bulb about 1/4 turn to remove straight out. This bulb looks to have a square base, so maybe it plugs straight in.

If there is a number on the bulb... that will tell you what style of bulb you have. Search that number on Google and see if it matches your bulb... it will be something like GW30-J. Part of the number will be the bulb style.

Also... in several of the pictures.. you can see writing on the can light where the wiring attaches... see if you can read that information... it may tell you exactly what kind of bulb you need. FYI ... many halogen bulbs have LED replacement bulbs available today... much less heat... but you have to have the same bulb style.

It is called a can light. Take the bulb out and read the size around the metal on the bulb. It looks like it is already connected. All you have to do us snap it into the ceiling.
