Some potted plants would look pretty by the garage doors and the steps. You also might want to build a raised bed in front of the windows and fill it with colorful flowers. That should get you started!
A park bench,Colorful containers planted with flowers for your zone, highlight the tree with mulch, colorful mat in front of the stairs,a shade container planter by the door, garden statues, gazing balls, solar lighting,a colorful piece of artwork on the side by the garage
Lots and lots of potted plants with trellises and vines
Invest in a lot of trees, evergreen bushes etc.in pots to make great curb appeal, plus a seating arrangement might be nice too. Also your posts on your porch and ceiling look unfinished, they should be completed any way you choose to make your entry also more inviting.
You could stain the concrete to a warmer color then add most of the above ideas.
I too would tackle that massive concrete, staining a pattern to make it look like a rug to define seating areas, dining, maybe a nice fountain, or a fire pit and a border around the whole thing.
I too would add potted trees and shrubs and put in a mini drip system (they make kits) cause that concrete will probably be hot in summer. You might make the plants butterfly and hummingbird friendly to attract wildlife to your courtyard. Add a birdbath.

You could also add a long window box beneath that row of windows.
Even make a BBQ area furthest from the house so fumes don't blow into the house.
