very limited natural light
get a 100 watt bulb with the most leumens listed on the box- it should also say daylight, thats a full spectrum bulb. depending on how many plants you have, you can get full spectrum "grow bulbs" in fluorescent tubes. those are the most common ways if you cant get grow bulbs, 1 "warm" fluorescent bulb and 1 "cool" spectrum bulb in the same fluorescent fixture.
The closest you can come to a grow light without spending a fortune, is to get a light that is called a daylight. It is a full spectrum bulb, just not quite as strong. If you get an LED it is only pennies a day to run. They are definitely not as expensive as a grow light, and as cheep as they are, you can afford to get as many as you need to keep your plants happy and healthy. I got the kind that is like the lights you put in the garage and hang by chains that are generous enough to put it as close as you need to your plants. Replacement bulbs are readily available at home improvement stores where you buy the lights. Getting the long tube lights gives you much more light coverage than getting a regular lightbulb type. I hope this helps you.
