Rub sone WD 40 on the tools
Rustoleum makes a rust dissolve products, a wire brush and steel wool also work.
I would use vinegar, water and a squirt of Dawn, and dry immediately with an old towel. 😇
Use sandpaper with a fine grit.
vinegar I find to be the best to clean rust off of any kind of metal
Naval Jelly actually destroys the rust... follow the directions. then use a primer for rusty metal (Rustoleum) and paint any way you want.... or several coats of a clear sealer to keep the patina
Wire brush and muscle!
Years ago there was a product called Naval Jelly - rust remover. It may have
been replaced with the Rustoleum product.??
See hardware store for a product called navel jelly. Use as directed. Rinse thoroughly. When dry spray with a couple coats of clear.
Get a wire brush and steel wool and rub it out. Wash it off afterwards and if you want to paint it, use Rustoluem spray paint for metal
