Get some larger shoe boxes (like for boots) and store your cardstock in one box, craft supplies in another one. If you are looking for supplies, try The Dollar Tree - they offer so many craft supplies for the holidays. Garage sales are another good place to find craft supplies.
look for a sale for the plastic drawer towers...they have wheels and you can tuck your supplies in the closet when they're not being used...
Michael's craft stores sometimes have nice shoe size boxes on sale or use their coupons (you can find online or in store). It comes with dividers and labels.
What a great hobby! Before my kids moved out I had very limited space as well. I also have a walk in closet and decided to make part of it a "cloffice", lol. I added a small desk I found at a yard sale and put a couple of shelves above it and attached a task light under the bottom shelf to give me more lighting right on my desk. I used baskets on the shelves to hold all my goodies. I have a real craft room now, but I still use my "cloffice" for bill paying and things. Good luck to you! I'd love to know what you decide to do.
i used to use shoe boxes for all my storage. I could label them or even cover them to make them look pretty with scrap cloth or scrapbook paper.
Diaper wipe boxes are great for craft organizing. They stack well and you can use a sharpie to label contents. Ask around and I bet many parents would be able to give them to you for free.
