How to Mount Printables on Wood Boards
Printables are so popular and they are a great way to add individual style to your spaces! By mounting them to boards and then creating frames, you have instant artwork.
Check out the tutorial on our blog for complete instructions and a video tutorial, and to download the printable feather art set (or others)
We started with just a few simple items: boards, printables, spray adhesive, and sandpaper.
Now it's time to apply the adhesive. Place your board in a box to apply the adhesive. This prevents over-spray from damaging other areas.
Now that the adhesive is in place, line up and attach your printable, using pressure to smooth it tightly against the board.
With a sanding block, gently sand the edges to remove the extra paper. Use light pressure to avoid damaging your printable.
Cut the boards for your frame. Dry test the measurements and fit and re-cut as necessary. Once the size is right, stain them the color of your choice. Then, nail them onto your board.
It really is a simple process and so easy to customize to your style and design tastes.
After we applied hardware for hanging them, we found the perfect spot for our mounted printables. Don't they look fabulous?
