Have you tried the commercial Woolite Oxi carpet spray products? My dog used to have sensitive stomach -frequent bilious vomiting and the stains were challenge. I found that this product works best.
I also think you should call your carpet cleaning service, if they knew about the problem, and let them know that what they used didn't work. They might come back and try to fix it. Let them know that it shows more at night so that they come at the right time. Wishing you the best.
If it's a light carpet, use Hydrogen Peroxide. Works like magic!
make them come back and redo that spot at no charge ... if it is damp, check for mold... that would be worse than the stain. if they won't come & redo that spot for free... rent a steam cleaner from the market and do it yourself... then (esp if you get the stain out) call your local TV station that has fights for you.... they will report them on TV and more than likely get a reimbursement for you.
If it was professionally cleaned, take some pictures and send them to the cleaner. Ask them to try again. For stains that were from a dog vomiting, I was successful soaking the area with vinegar (not sopping wet), applied baking soda and let it dry. The stain actually pulled into the baking soda and I just vacuumed it up.
I recently used the Woolite foam and it got two major stains out of my rug -- one was a black coffee stain and the other a muddy footprint. It worked beautifully! However, since you have since had the carpet professionally cleaned, I agree with Lindaās advice -- call back the carpet service since you do not know what chemicals they used to āremoveā the stain. Those chemicals may prevent any application you apply from working.
Spray w I n d e x on stain. I use small nail brush. With damp cloth and dry cloth.
Sprinkle baking powder on the stain. Then pour some vinegar over the baking powder. Let it foam. Then blot the stain with a clean cloth. Use a damp cloth to remove any residue.
I have gotten many stains (even blood] out with windex. I assume because of the ammonia. Just try some on a small section to make sure it won't discolor. Note. My carpets are very light, oatmeal, if you have a lot of color in yours it may not be suitable
