There are many commercial cleaner/polish seal products available for granite. Before you buy those, try cleaning your countertop the same way you would clean a window.

We have black granite too. The cloudiness comes from grease stains. Wipe it down with soap the hot water a couple of times. Wipe it dry. If it's still there maybe you will need to buy a commercial cleaner.
Do NOT use vinegar or ammonia on your granite. The cloud may be from your Dawn dish soap that has wax in it to make dishes shine (and why the water drips off so fast). It may also be from the chemicals in your water, or both. Get a granite cleaner -- almost all grocery stores sell -- and clean with soft cloth.
Perhaps a real degreaser... try 90+% rubbing alcohol.
DO NOT put any more SOAP on your granite!! Buy a Granite Cleaner from Home Depot.
I have not found a product that will get back the shine to black galaxy granite countertops. I tried them all. Looks great wet, but as soon as it dries, the haziness is back. I think granite cleaning is still a mystery to anyone associated with it. Very sad.
I have had black galaxy for many years, and care is simple: wash with water and dry thoroughly. If it's still cloudy/streaky use a granite cleaner. Simple. No mystery.
Clean your natural stone countertop with a mild kitchen cleaner.
Ask kitchen dept. at large store what they would reccommend.
