They need plenty of bright light to intensify the hues. It’s important to keep them at least 10 feet from any cold drafts and to not let them get below 13 degrees. Watering is the biggest factor that leads to a quick death. Let them dry out slightly between watering and don’t give them more than a 1/4 cup at a time. You can use the same liquid fertilizer you would use for your house plants as they should be treated as such.
i live in Houston, Texas so we plant them on the south side of the house and they
will survive and bloom in decembeR. Not the big blooms that come from the store smaller but really nice.... give it a try
One of the worst things for poinsettia is watering too much, also if it's getting warm air blowing on it. If you live where the weather is not freezing plant it outside when spring comes.
