Sluggish Bathroom Sink
Water drains very slowly from bathroom sink. Have put bleach down the drain but it didn't help. Poured hot water down drain; also didn't help. What can I do to unclog the bathroom sink and make it drain faster?

You can try sprinkling baking soda down the drain and then add vinegar and let that reaction take place and see if that unclogs it. Otherwise, you could try a commercial drain clog product. Lastly, you might have to take the piping apart under the sink and clean it out if it is clogged really badly.
Try baking soda ( 2 cups or so) followed by plain white vinegar (1/2 quart) . It will bubble like a science experiment. After about 45 minutes put a pan of boiling water down it.
Have you “snaked” it? Could be hair clogging it. They make small, not expensive, implements that you weave down the drain to grab anything that might be clogging it. Ask in any home/hardware store plumbing department. Once you get what is clogging it out, put some baking soda down the drain and pour in vinegar. It will foam like crazy and cleans out a lot of gunk. Keep adding vinegar and baking soda until it is running well then, flush well with hot water. Hope this helps.
Baking soda Down the drain Then Vinegar Let this work a little then Boiling water . Works for me.
If it has always been slow to drain you may not have a clog but just a drain that isn't properly vented. They make something called an AAV (air admittance valve) that you can add to any sink AFTER the trap to help it breathe better.
baking soda, vinegar, let sit then pour kettle of boing water.. Be Careful mixing Vinegar and baking soda because it fizzes
you could have some build up of soap scum and hair, theres a little tool , if you can get past your stopper, either by unattaching it, but then the little tool has side teeth that will grab hair etc, and clear the drain if its not too far down. I included the pic of tool. Its clled a Zip-It
Our sink drain in our bathroom is slow also.....but found the stopper was not coming up far enough....I have been pulling it up by hand and sort of twisting it to keep it up enough to let the water out.....next purchase for me will be a new stopper mechanism.
