There is a space between the wall and the bed and things are always falling down there...
can you cut a template of the hole and cover the backer board you’ve cut from cardboard or luan with batting and coordinating fabric. How about decorative metal sheeting available at big box home improvement stores? Just cut a rectangle big enough and tack in with brads in the back of the headboard. Personally the hole doesn’t bother me.
You might make an insert covered with material that matches or coordinates with your bedding. When you change your bedding you could change the material on the insert.
A mirror behind the hole?
Did you accidentally include the word bed in your question?
My ideas was the fabric with batting...coordinate with the colors in your bedroom...I think this would be very pretty!
I like the idea of an insert with a coordinating fabric.
If you had glass before, why not glass again? Only this time decoupage pictures of your kids on the back of the glass and then paint it. The glass can be cut from a template you make . . . probably best at a glass store or picture framer. This is a glass plate with pictures of my grandson cut out and glued on the back. Bottom of circle I painted and the top is wrapping paper and the edge some other kind of paper.
Thanks everyone for your ideas I appreciate it 🙂
If you have a way to light it from the back, you could make a faux stained glass out of a piece of plexiglass...the Leading comes in a squeeze bottle, as do the colors...fun to do, not expensive, any good hobby/craft store has the supplies. You can do this!!
Get over yourself it looks fine
