If you like the angles, you can play it up with a contrasting paint color.
We have ceilings even higher! I hung a modern chandelier and one wall above the tv has a rather large piece of art.
I would go for a grouping of pictures...different sizes of frames, but all the same style/colour....frames shouldn’t be too ornate. I wouldn’t hang any higher than the door jambs (unless you found one large/long and narrow piece of artwork to go into the peak)
Consider putting shiplap up.
Update the ceiling fan. Change furniture, piano and TV arrangement. Try placing TV so it is centered below the highest point of the ceiling. You may want to place it on a long low TV stand. Turn sofa to face TV. You could place a sofa table behind the sofa. Move piano to another wall. Check to make sure you still have an easy traffic flow.
Large Mirror
i cheated....hung my king sized quilt as "art" when i had wall similar to yours
Buy a tall shelf with lights that laminate inside and place it under the highest point of the ceiling, put a rectangular mirror long ways in between the tv and shelf for light reflection, spread smaller pictures up down from each other. somewhere access the room have your light source be it may a large lamp or candles or a window that allows sun. Throw a new area rug that matches the wall paint.
If possible, I would place the tv some where else. Place the sofa on this wall with a beautiful wall hanging Behind it and maybe a console table behind with lamp, plants, etc.
this is what I did. I just finished painting the wall and building the floating shelf. Plan to place a large sailboat or picture I made in the center of the shelf.
Hello Terry,
Follow the paint all the way to the top of each angle! Use a long handled Roller or" Paint Roller Pro "System! good luck
I have the same thing. You decorate just as if they were not angled. It makes no difference to the angle of the ceiling. You can place taller objects closer to the center of the room that's all.
