Is the valve fully opened?(check the basement) Is the pipe frozen? Do you have a leak somewhere?
May need to replace the washer or cartridge.
Sounds like your pipes might be full of sediment... depending on the age of your home...and your water source... some of the plumbing pipes used a long time ago are very prone to sediment collection. AngiesList.com or HomeAdvisor.com can help you contact a verified plumber to diagnose the problem and find a cure.
Your question isn’t completed so I’m Guessing your full questions here? I’m assuming your not getting full water pressure? If this is true on the hot side too? You should have a screw on cover with screens on the bottom of your faucet where the water comes out and sometimes these get blocked with impurities from your water system. Unscrew the cap and you‘ll see the screens and a washer you can remove and clean and reinstall and see if that helps? Depending on the quality of faucet you have? There may be other washers under your valves where you turn your water on and off. Always a possibility some imperfections got up into the valve area as well? Remove the valves if possible and make sure their clear of any foreign material
Thanks
The first thing you can check is the screen in your aerator. Unscrew the bottom of the faucet and it will come out. Rinse and replace. My own (every 10 years) need to be fully replaced (cheap) due to mineral deposits, etc. that wear them out.
if your hot and cold are slow then yes chk your areator. if only your cold is slow your lines or your faucet is partially blocked. we sell a product at work that would help with mineral deposits. and you can probably find it on line. if you have galvanized plumbing this is probably a build up of rust in the lines. i ran some bleach through mine to clear a bathroom faucet but my lines are cpvc. if everything else in the house works ok its probably your faucet. you can buy on cheap at your local hardware store, b
The screens are a possible answer but also check the cut off. Look under sink on right side. Turn knob until you adjust water flow to what you like. Could be someone just messing around turned the water off or close to it.
