Afraid I wasn't very DIY with this project. I put a storage container in the kitchen that holds a bag of our Lab-shepherd-collie's door food. We don't have any where to set her water and dog food bowls that they won't get kicked or run over so I had to think smaller but not lower. For Cassidy this is perfect. She is a rescue and would be happy if I sat beside her and hand fed her. Actually, she probably would be happier! Let us know how you take care of your pooch. Good DIY-ING!!
I've never heard of cutting up an onion to grow. My understanding is the entire onion has to be planted. Potatoes can be cut up. Garlic is separated into individual cloves.
Just plant the entire onion. I do it all the time. Here you go . . .
