I have the same windows in my kitchen. The only other solution if you don't want curtain rods or single window treatments is to hang something directly on the glass like stained glass ornaments or window film. TBH, you will not get the privacy. I once used a single rod to cover all 3 bay window sections and I didn't care for the look at all. It defeated the purpose of having 3 separate sections. I went back to the same configuration you have now.
I love cafe curtains using same extension rods
that sounds cute, thank you
You can cover it with contact paper-https://www.hometalk.com/diy/windows-doors/windows/how-to-use-contact-paper-to-make-a-beautiful-privacy-window-27632620

Use tension rods inside the window and hang a single sheer panel from each window. Make it long enough so it just touches the windowsill. If you want to be able to open the windows or want more light coming in, put another tension rod in the bottom hem. Flip the bottom of the panel up and use the tension rod to secure it in the top window frame.
I am struggling with this at my house right now. I don’t know how economical this will be, but Bed, Bath, and Beyond has curtain rods and “joints” for bay windows. The joints connect the three rods and swivel to match the angles you need. My store said they can order almost any drape in the store in a 63inch length, which is what I need. Decisions, decisions.
I have a bay window, which I covered it with LEVELOR honeycomb shade. I paid extra for a solar shield, which keeps the cold out, and the heat out. This saves on our energy bill. It's spring loaded, one shade across the entire length of the window, and no cords. There are other brands of shades, Bali, or Blinds to Go. You put three brackets across the entire length of the windows, and snap the shade in.
Thank you so much, I can't picture it with 3 brackets, will go look it up....I'm sure it is fab!!
Mini blinds with a valances
That's probably a really good option, easy to let the light in...thank you
had the same window. didn't need privacy so I hung panels of fabric at each intersection from a decorative hook. looked great.
not what I meant. hang the fabric between the windows like a drape effect. only need 8 feet of fabric for 4 places on each side of the window. even more economical is to cut 2 8 foot sheets of fabric in half length wise. you can even tie them with a tassle on the top to gather it.
I have bow/bay window in my DR and had shutters installed on the bottom with swags on the top. Since that side of the house faces west, room darkening blinds are underneath the swags for summertime to keep out sunlight in the p.m. and cut down on AC usage. Looks pretty good and like the fact that I can control amount of light allowed into the room. Open shutters for a.m. and close for p.m. DR looks out on the open space that gives me a panorama of my neighborhood so I have a constantly changing view of nature and people. Also, no one is right up against the house to make me feel closed in.
buy some good old net curtains eric
that would be cool with the pool out back...thank you
