Hey Jazzy I wish I had a great tip or something to reply back with but mostly I'm just relating to your pain! I've always found morning glories to be delicate and finicky plants but I've also seen them grow really well in the wild. I'm wondering if we need to go online and find a different "breed" of morning glory?
That may be. It does depend greatly on the seed. I didn't think about that. Thank you. I may go to a garden center to get them or a well known seed catalog company. I'm going to start looking into it now.
my opinion that is not true, they are very easy to grow, however do your self a favor and find a differnt vine as they blow seed and take over everything
I got my starts from my neighbor kids as a gift. It has been a lovely gift that has kept on giving for many years now. I love them! I think that it also depends on the variety. I have the common two tone purple/pink ones. The other colors that I bought seed for only grew one year and never flowered as profusely as those original ones.
could be a lot of things - amount of light, water, temperature, soil conditions, etc. usually too easy to grow! they can become a pest in some area --- but try this link for information specific to where you live https;//ask.extension.org
