Hello. I uses a sprayer like one you use for weeds. I then mix 40% outdoor bleach to 60% water. Spray it on and let it sit for about 15 minutes then rinse it off. I try to do this right before it rains so the rain washes it off. They also sell other products that don't need to be rinsed off. I always use the bleach.

Agree with Janet. Wet and Forget or Spray and Forget do a great job and won't kill everything around your foundation like bleach will. I used Spray and Forget 5 years ago and the white siding on the front of my house remains black and green free.

It will always happen - it is caused by the conditions. The only thing you can do is to clean it down once a year - Jetwash with cleaning agent added.

If it's really thick on there, you may need to power wash it. You can rent power washers at HD.
