How about hooks on the wall?
I purchased shelves and cubbies from target years ago. Its worked well for my situatio.
I know it isn't pretty, but I use clear plastic shoe boxes. For smaller things like sandals I can put more than one in a box and they will be together and clean. For boots I use small under the bed boxes and lay then out in it. I have some pairs of shoes that don't fit in the shoe boxes, I found a covered box and covered it with contact paper on the whole thing and they all fit in their without a problem. I like keeping them inside the shoe boxes, etc. so that I don't have to clean them when I want to use them if they aren't used that often.
Hello! Amazon sells a hanging shoe cubby for 10 bucks. Get one or two of them. I bought mine at the Container Store years ago and it is a great item that keeps shies organized and hidden away in the closet. Good Luck!
I use the clear shoeboxes from the Dollar Store.
The dollar tree sells shoe pouches that can be hung with nails, open screw eye hook or even command hooks and if your like me I’m a shoe hound, so I lined my whole entire closet back and sides with them and they are dust free and I acquired more space for other things.
