Wrought iron is available or can be painted white so I'm not sure what you are asking. You should use what you like rather than trying to figure out where the crowd is going and follow along. Quality never goes out of style. Cheap seldom is in style.
Since the farmhouse look is really "in", wrought iron is the way to go. It's easy to install them.
Ballisters if its indoors 😊
I would go with white over wrought iron
If you are staying in the home, pick what you like. Nothing like wrought iron with brick - very southern.
I believe it's a personal preference. What is your home style? Will you be selling your home any time soon? Consider your budget, do comparison price shopping, and think safety if you have small children. Best of luck.
Paint it, live with it....when tired of that, do wrought iron!
Hello there,
It depends on the style of your home? You could always make your own style - Colour only the Turned parts of the Spindles etc. - Maybe Gold or Silver or Bronze?
Wrought iron seem to be the "new look" and are quite attractive. However like every fad, it is likely they will go out of style faster than the painted or wood ballisters.
