Maybe Muriatic acid? But be very careful using and ask a professional before using.

What about one of those razor blades on a handled grip?
to add to my comment, I would have a vacuume handy and wear a paper mask because I think that backing contains mercury!
Citristrip safe stripper. Muriatic acid is used in etching concrete. Scraper would take forever and can damage the glass or accidentally break it.. HA HA! No mercury.
I used a paint stripper to get the gray paint off. The second step used toilet bowl cleaner and a flat razor blade scraper to get the silver off.
Paint strippers won’t ruin the glass.
Paint strippers should be used outside when the weather warms up. Messy & fumes.
Paint stripper will for sure do it
