Hi, I just did mine. Clean and dry counter. Prime it. Put on skim coat 1/8" thick. Dry overnight. Sand down the high spots. Put on 2nd, then 3rd skim coat sanding in between. Prime skim coat. Paint with latex. Final step is complete topcoat using Stone Effects top coat. Should cost $20 skim coat, and $75 top coat epoxy resin.
