Take inside measurements to your local Home Depot or Lowes for their pricing. I'm sure they will have exactly what you need in your price range. Best of luck.
It isn't really possible to estimate the cost without knowing the size of the door, what area of the country you live in, and what type of door. Sliding glass doors come in a wide variety, some with all the bells and whistles (and priced to reflect that) to builder basic. I can say that if cost is a factor, consider checking your local ReStore, if you have one, it's a thrift store run by Habitat for Humanity, and check with local big box stores for clearance and returns...doors are returned for lots of reasons, not necessarily bad quality. If you are going to be making the opening for your door yourself, you have a lot more flexibility as to the dimensions of the door, check CraigsList and FreeCycle to see what you can find. Good Luck
An also check out some of those discount vinyl window retailers where every window is $99, they usually have sliding doors too.
A basic sliding glass door usually starts at around $300
Got a deal for $99 at a lumber yard. When installing found out the reason for the sweet deal. It was warped from leaning/standing up in the sun. Replaced with a $250 door from a big box store.
