I've seen several made from attaching a couple of chairs together, adding backing, padding, cushions etc. Repurposed headboard. Or one if my faves, cut down any old entertainment center and repaint, add cushion, add feet if need height adjusted; with right design won't need reinforcement to bear weight. Bonus of extra storage. Check this site for many ideas😊
