How to fix my huge mistake - cherry veneer cabinet finish came off!!!!

Cannot believe I did this, I tried to hang a plate decoration on my new cabinets and used a Velcro Command adhesive 'easy off' for frames. The wicker 'plate' decoration fell down and while pulling the 'tab' to 'easy remove' the velcro, the finish came off my cabinet - I juse cannot believe it, I thought they were real wood! I am devastated, how can I fix this?

This house was built in 2008 by Hartland Homes and we have only owned it 2 plus years...

Has anyone any advice, suggestions or recommendations for me, please? Pics of the cabinets and pic of the 'biggest mistake I have made in this house' !

the color is very very close to the pic
the finish is gone for about an inch and a half long and about 1/2 inch tall

Go to home depot & they have a wax type pens that you can rub on.

I would take off one of the doors for a color sample and take to Home Depot, Lowes, or local hardware/paint store and show it to them and ask for help in choosing a brush on stain which will match as close as possible. After that is done you will still be left with a depression where the veneer came off and you may be able to fill that by applying a clear acrylic finish with a small brush, a thin layer at a time, drying between coats. Be sure the clear coat has a matte or semi matte finish or matches whatever the finish is on your cabinets. This should make the mark less noticeable.

Use Minwax stain markers to color the damage. Comes in all stain colors. You may need two blend colors. Do not use them like regular markers. Dab the spot with the markers and use your finger to blend. Take one of the doors with you to get a close color. Home Depot or Menard's.
