Is there anyway to clean mold out of a cedar lined Hope Chest ?

    white vinegar will kill the mold

    yes there is. Use a bleach/water solution and clean with soft toothbrush. Dry with a clean towel. When finished, put it in the sun, opened of course and allow it to dry several days if needed. Bring in out of the night air though. I’ve done this many times to various wood antiques and it always works.

    Scrub with Hydrogen peroxide and a small brush, dry area really well with paper towels and leave open to air dry completely.

    There shouldn't be mold in a cedar chest. Cedar usually keeps that stuff away.
