Does anyone know how to remove the heat mark in an electric skillet

All of the electric skillets I have bought get this circular mark in the pan. Ceramic pans say to use baking soda, this works somewhat. I received the new cooper chef pan and baking soda is a no no. I have replace all my pans to Cooper chef and had nothing but problems. I use electric skillets when we take our grandson camping. We rent cabin's ( to old to totally ruffing it). Please help If you have any ideas

  • Sorry to say that is permanent. It is the heating unit on the bottom that "burns" the finish. I was given one as a gift. Not impressed, put it in the donate box. I am old school, Lodge cast iron or enamel on cast iron are my favorite cookware pieces.
