Hmmm, I know you said “other than” painting, but what about a wood look paint? These grain rockers simulate wood grain perfectly! https://www.amazon.com/Allway-GT3-Graining-Tool-Set/dp/B003BKPRNQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518923748&sr=8-1&keywords=wood+grain+rocker&dpID=41FkgvrEVWL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
Hi Lynn, I only said other than painting, because I'm so inexperienced with paint! Was totally afraid it would come off easily and not bond. I really like and appreciate the provided link!
Thank you.
I thought of the contact paper because I was wanting to buy a roll to cover a box to put on a shelf in the bathroom! I hope something like that will work for the look you want. They even have granite/ marble looking and metallic now. You may find something you like that will work!
Thank you for your help, I will check out the ones available.
There is a paint called Billy Goat that is super easy to apply. Then put on a finish coat of polyeurathane. Easy to use even if you didn't want to 'paint' it. I have done my coffee table, dining room table and bench and it was quick and easy.
