In the spring is a great time. What zone are you in?

Depends on your area. Any garden shop or even online should be able to look @ a chart for what zone you live in & when the last frost will occur.
Wait until spring before putting your roses in the ground. Then cut them back in the Fall. They will grow bigger each year. Best of luck to you.
