Industrial kitchen won’t have that size, church ladies might...have a chat with the church secretaries, tell them why you are collecting them, and what you need them for
You might ask for help in your local media like Facebook. People save their coffee cans and use them as needed but would probably donate them to you if you ask. Also be sure to meet them in a safe public place, do not give them your home address. We usually meet someone at the local quick stop gas station by the red video machine during daylight hours, or in the Walmart shopping center parking lot like near the recycle bins or something. Take someone with you too, to meet up with a stranger to get the cans. If you have several offers, ask them all to meet you at the same time in the same public place for everyone's safety. You might look on ebay or Amazon, people sell things there inexpensively sometimes. Ask your church members to save them for you. Put up an ad on the public bulletin board in your grocery store or somewhere. Leave a cell phone number for them to contact you. Above all, be safe. Hope these ideas help. We live in a small rural area and folks are always glad to help, we have never felt threatened, but always think of safety first.
