Sunlight Requirements of a Jade Plant. Another important aspect of the care and maintenance of jade plants is how much sun they receive. They need full sun in order to grow properly. If they do not have full sun, they may become stunted and leggy.
Water it.....
If not acclimated slowly, direct HOT sun can burn the plant, in cooler weather you should be ok. Here in Florida I've had success with potted ones under sunny side exposure of oak trees. When I planted them they actually bloomed. Check for proper soil and repot if needed. Don't over water. They will rot
too much hot, direct sun; move to where it gets partial shade during the hottest part of the day; well drained soil used for cactus BUT some varieties of Jade have 'purple' or 'red' leaves --- could be the variety you have !https://dengarden.com/gardening/Jade-Plants-Types-Care-and-Propagation
