drill holes and use stump outdoor use rock salt
There are many products out there at Farm and Fleet's or local hardware stores. You need to drill down in the trunk to make them do there job. Manay do't do that. Bleach also works good too. drill the holes and pour direct into them straight bleach.
Depends on tree. Check with county extension service. They are a great resource for all your plant questions
Hi Alice. The best way to rid stumps is to hire someone with a stump grinder. You can also rent one. Using products to kill it can take years. It just depends on how fast you want to get rid of it.
I had several stumps in an area that no stump grinder could get to. I drilled multiple holes in the stump with an electric drill, using the largest drill bit. Then I covered the stumps with soil dug from the same yard, making sure that as much soil as possible went into the drilled holes. It wasn't fast, but eventually the stumps disintegrated. As they did, I would chip away at them with a hatchet, covering the remaining stump with more soil. In a couple years' time, the job was done.
Burn it out, drill holes in it and salt it regularly, Stump Killer.
