Drawer stoppers on plastic storage carts
I bought 6 drawer mobile storage carts. Their drawers are not secure when opening and will just fall out especially when they have items in them. I like being able to remove the drawers completely but would like to rig them with something that reduces the chance of disaster. Any suggestions appreciated.
Check the back as they come with stops you snap off & put on. And you can't pull them all the way as it will tip over.
Add a thin rectangular piece of wood or rigid plastic with one screw to the back of the drawer (inside) so the piece can be rotated vertically to stop drawer coming out, or horizontally to allow drawer removal.
Also, put the heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
