Hello! There are any number of ways to decorate a large kitchen wall. My mother always had a variety of family photos cropped on her kitchen wall and she would change them out every so often. However that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Click on the link below to view a slew of pictures on what you can possibly put on your kitchen wall. Have fun!

Hi Kathryn! Do you have a theme and color palette in your kitchen?
depends on your decorating style....https://www.pinterest.com/explore/kitchen-wall-decorations/?lp=true
I've seen old family recipes printed on a wrapped canvas and placed on the kitchen wall-really cool idea! Good luck! You could also check out wall clings made for the kitchen-there are loads of designs-something for everyones taste :)
Great ideas!
Depending on the size of your kitchen , very narrow shelving (ordinary shelving cut in half) to hold spices in attractive containers and/or herbs growing in water.
With infinite ideas available, how do you pick one for you? One will look easy to accomplish, another will be appealing, while another will seem practical.
Find one that helps maximize your space. Even if you live in a larger home and don’t think you need the wall to serve a function. Could a clock be helpful? A family calendar or command center? Children’s art collage?
If if you want something traditional and finished looking, maybe a consol table with decorations, cooking magazines and some fruit.
if you decorate with a function in mind then the wall will feel more like part of the space and ”you”.
Since you ask how the reader would decorate a large blank kitchen wall, I will tell you how I would do it. 1) I collect china so would probably decorate a big blank wall with a display of blue and white plates, large and small, maybe some platters, thoughtfully displayed to please my eye. 2) Or since I also collect quilts I might hang a quilt on the wall, changing it out for another one every once in a while.
