I have heard some people have used liquid nails to help these stick.
Construction adhesive will do the job but be sure you tape off where you don't want the glue. It won't take much.
Clear silicone has worked for me.
I Like each of these products, but the important part may be to find a way to hold the tile sheets to the wall until the adhesive bonds. Big books like dictionaries and textbooks may work if you don’t have a little ledge; if you do, you could use thin books to fill in the ledge width, and bigger books as the main brace. You may be able to clamp a yardstick to cabinets to hold the tile sheets in place. The adhesive needs to cure at least a day before it’s left alone. It should last for years that way. ☺️
I use LOCTITE POWER GRAB construction adhesive for everything !!! It's awesome..E6000 sucks.
I do Steampunk art...tiny intricate things and some very heavy..Loctite has never let me down. And it's called POWERGRAB for a reason :) I hold my item for a few seconds then it's all good. :) SO happy to help. NOt only that..but Liquid nails etc..is SO toxic and the smell is overwhelming...loctite is not and is easily removed from fingers and edges. I use a toothpick:)
