Hi Monique, moisture and a blow dryer to heat up the glue was the best method I found. I spray the whole wall down with hot water and then I used a hair dryer on the piece I was working on.

Buy a scoring tool available from home improvement or paint stores. In fits in the palm of your hand and has sharp teeth that penetrates the wallpaper as you rub it over the surface of the wallpaper. Score, score, score. Then apply very warm water with a spray bottle and let set for a few minutes. Find an edge or corner of the wallpaper and start pulling the paper away from the wall. If you've done a good job of scoring, it may come off in large strips, if not continue to spray with warm water and remove the smaller pieces. Your success probably depends mostly on what type of paste was used when the paper you're removing was applied and how long ago. . You'll need to wash the walls to get any remaining glue/paste off it in prep for your planned painting or repapering project. It can be a messy job but well worth the work. Good luck with your project!
Steam it off. Score it well so the steam gets in and therefore easier to remove. You can rent at any tool rental shop.

Definitely use a scoring tool and warm water
Score the wallpaper and rent a steamer on a day that you can possibly open some household windows. I did it one winter in MI and all of my windows in my home fogged up and the humidity in my home was unbearable!
get a wallpaper shark, run it all over the wallpaper, then spray it down with a 50/50 mix of fabric softener (or conditioner) and water. Let it sit a bit and it should scrape right off
