Hi Maria. You can plant bleeding heart, hostas, ferns, pulmonaria, and astilbe. I have all of them in WI in a fully shaded area and they do great! Happy planting.
My favorite, impatients. Cluster like colors for the best effect. They will thicken up and thrive.
I live at the beach in New Jersey. I have great luck with Vinca flowers, not the vine. They grow in the shade here very well. They are annuals so you need to plant then every year, so they should work for you, too. Ask your local nursery what is best for your area.
Impatient come to mind as well as some hostas. Check with your local garden center

I have personally found that impatients get leggy and begonias get like a rot to them in the shade. It could be me, though.
