Will hydrangeas grow on east side of house?

Live in the middle of Oklahoma, I love hydrangeas but can not get them to grow. Just moved and my home faces east, so morning sun untill around 10:30 am, any tricks I can try?

Morning sun and afternoon shade for hydrangeas! Maybe some additives to make acidic soil.
