I know it works on fruit stains, but worth a try. Put the stained area in a colander in your sink. Sprinkle with some salt. Pour boiling water over it. Not on it, over it, from shoulder height.

Stains from tea. Indian, Chinese, black, green or white! I have never found a foolproof method of removing tea stains from fabric. No detergent on the market works....
