Succulents grow well in sandy soil but you Mau stool need to amend the soil south compost and cow manure. Contact your local county extension setvice. They should be able to help you. They will know your area and can make specific recommendations
Succulents do well in sandy soil, as do cactus. Perhaps palm trees (there are such a large variety maybe you can find one for your area like Palmetto or palm dwarf). Hope this helps
Go to your local plant nursery. They can assist you as they are local and you can see the plants they are talking about.
Sandy soil is hard because the water runs right through. Have you mixed other materials in it yet, like compost, animal fertilizer and natural material so it's not just sand?
